During the Australia Day long weekend some of our junior skaters (Absolute, Boiii, Octoling and Red) travelled to Queensland and attended three morining boot camp sessions with:

1) PeaceWar from Texas - teaching agressive offence through defence.

2) Loki Doki from Arch Rival - Using movement of other players to your advantage.

3) ZipBlok from Atlanta - Edgework to make you a better blocker.

They were also able to sit in on classes throughout the day from people like Rosie Peacock and Optimus Grime from Scotland and our very own Bicepsual, Sausarge Rolls, Lauren Foote, Slamazon, Slinger, Kelly Walker and more.

They also had a chance to play in the juniors bout on the final day.

It is well worth thinking about heading up next year for a great weekend of derby learning and action.
